An update on our Quartet Convention visit. We'll be singing in a Regional Artist Showcase...1 song on Monday...sometime between 11:00am and 4:30pm. One of the Emcees for this showcase will be Tim Lovelace. Gina and I have spent a little time with Tim and Mary Alice and they are great christian folks. On Tuesday we'll be participating in the Jubilee Music Artists Showcase and will be singing 15 minutes. We are really excited about this opportunity. It will give folks an opportunity to see what we do in a "regular" concert. Please pray for us as we get these chances to share our ministry. Our reason for attending the Convention is to introduce ourselves to other areas. We have shortened our time in Louisville by one day because of a concert opportunity on Saturday, September 18th. Pray for traveling mercy, there and back and for His favor while there. Thanks

Just had to tell you about this email we got from South Carolina. A dear lady from Buffalo, SC writes..."Hello, I am in SC and have Sirrius Radio in my car and it stays on Enlightned permanently. As a devoted lover of Southern Gospel Music, I am amazed at the new songs we hear on this radio and the new groups that we never heard of on our local gospel circuit. Today the song, My Precious Lord, grabbed my soul's full attention. What can you tell me about this song? Did you write it? As a singer(local churches only) I would love to get the sound track of this song. Also if I order your new project cd, would I be able to make a copy to give to our local radio station to play on their gospel hour each day? Plans are being made for Stubborn Love to attend the National Quartet Convention this year. We are trusting the Lord for the resourses for this costly venture but also understand it to be a timely venture in the life of our ministry. Please pray for us as we work through all the details and that the Lord would guide us specifically to His will and Way. Thanks...

As most of you who follow Stubborn Love know, Chandler Pruitt, son of Joe and Ruby Pruitt of Stubborn Love, has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Chandler continues treatments for CF and Joe and Ruby covet your continued prayers for him. Again...we thank you for your interest in our ministry and really appreciate you praying for Chandler.
